CITY CENTER PLAZA OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
After two years of construction, city leaders and development professionals cut the ribbon on the long-awaited City Center Plaza.
The project includes an expansion of the Boise Centre, Boise State University’s new computer science department, and Main Street Station, which is the new transit hub located beneath the development.
The plaza includes restaurant, retail and office space. The Boise Centre expansion alone accounts for an expansion of 38,000 square feet, which includes a new ballroom, catering kitchen and pre-function space, in addition to meeting rooms. The Greater Boise Auditorium District says the additional space will greatly enhance Boise Centre’s ability to host larger conventions and meetings. It also allows for multiple events to be held at the same time.
Construction is still underway around the new development, but the Grove will re-open to foot traffic later this year.
Grasmick Produce looks forward to the growth and development that this new construction will bring to the valley. Congratulations and welcome to the new tenants of the City Center Plaza!
